Hi Jay, waiting 20 minutes for a game is actually a good rate and 30 minutes is a norm. There are many places where you have to wait for longer for a game. My suggestion would be to get in earlier to get more games that evening. Addressing your issue with open players taking 2 courts: The 2nd court will only be available to be rotated alternatively amongst open and other social players when the number of open players reaches 12. We are very strict with this criterion. With extra training sessions coming up, our Committee will be working harder to ensure enough court time is allocated to social players. Training sessions only last till 18th Sept. More updates regarding Men’s Training time will be posted up soon. It is good to hear feedbacks from members. Thank you for your concerns.

It is great that courts will be used for training/coaching (5-7pm) but i think for social members, we should have more courts to play. Last week i attended…we have to wait at least 20-30 minutes for a game. We came at 8.45 pm and left at 11pm, played only 2 rotation of games.

Social players are getting more and by reserving 1 court for the open players and 1 court for training, i dun think it will work out. And now the session starts at 7pm. And last week, i see almost 2 courts being used for open players. Most of the attendees were not satisfied bcos the open players only had at most 10 players and they should be able to rotate well with one court.

Hi Vince, at the moment, looks like the Men’s Team will take one court from 7-9pm but we have not decided when it will start. Will update on our website as soon as we can.

Hi John, this is suppose to be a one off situation. It is purely bad planning and organizing. To prevent more of this happening, we have already raise this issue up with the union and also re-raise issues about the sporting environment being inadequate. We are waiting for their resolution. Thanks for your support always!

I believe this is a one time thing, right? You mean this will happen more frequent in the future? By the way it is not ur fault but how did the hall management mess the dates up? It seems like they are not good at managing the hall bookings and maintenance. I also think the lights in the badminton hall is getting really bad. Some lights are not replaced and some too bright. Shame on them….
